Sat, Jul 31, 2010
The Star/Asia News Network

The tabloid reported that more than 60 students, including a boy, were involved in mass hysteria incident at a secondary school in Kuala Kubu Baru, Selangor.

A student, who called herself Nida, said residents of the girls' hostel in the school were struck by panic on Sunday night when one of them suddenly screamed.

She said a few of her friends were also involved in the incident which continued until Wednesday.

"The student who screamed first calmed down later. But she was 'attacked' again, and this affected the other students," she said, adding that an ustaz had been called to treat the student.

Another student claimed that the incident had taken place after a white apparition was seen on a bed in the hostel.
