Jakarta Post, ANN

A South Korean identified as Koo Eun Hoi was stabbed to death in front of his house in East Bekasi on Wednesday, according to police.

The body of the 48-year-old garment factory owner bore six stab wounds located on his chest, stomach, waist and one of his hands. He died due to loss of blood on his way to hospital.

"According to reports from investigators at the crime scene, the victim was allegedly murdered by a man whose wife was impregnated by the victim," Bekasi police chief Sr.Comr. Mas Guntur Laupe told The Jakarta Post.

Merdi said the wife had been working as staff at Hoi's factory. The husband, he said, was still at large.

Hoi's personal driver, Nalam, told kompas.com that he witnessed the alleged murderer at the crime scene and that he recognized that he had been monitoring the house for the past three days.

"When I confronted him, the murderer raised his machete at me and then I backed down, afraid," Nalam said.
