Thailand, Nov 20, 2008 - The People's Alliance for Democracy paraded the body of a slain protester to the Metropolitan Police head office Thursday afternoon to denounce police for failing to keep security for protesters.

Some 500 PAD protesters moved the body of Jenkij Klubsakhon out of the Government House at 3:40 pm. Jenkij was fatally injured when a bomb exploded at the demonstration ground inside the Government House.

His wife and two children followed the coffin.

When the protesters reached in front of the Metropolitan Police head office they showed the coffin to police at the front gate and told police that a protester had been killed.

The protest leaders took turn to attack police for about 30 minutes for failing to keep security for protesters. They then moved the body to the Makut Kasat Temple for a bathing rite.
