Thailand postpones ASEAN summit

>BANGKOK, THAILAND - THAILAND has postponed its hosting of an Association of South East Asian Nations (ASEAN) summit until March due to its deepening political crisis, government spokesman Nattawut Saikuar said on Tuesday.

The meeting had been scheduled to take place in the northern city of Chiang Mai from Dec. 13-17.
