Abhisit acknowledges the thumbs-down for his economic team

>Thailand - Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva on Friday conceded that the Thai Chamber of Commerce had voiced disappointment on his economic team.

"I understand the reactions but I am obligated to achieve the political equilibrium in order to pave way for the government to successfully tackle economic woes," he said.

Abhisit said he had had a frank exchange of views with the business community and that he would heed the advice given to him on how to revitalise the economy.
