Teo and two colleagues were at the Santika Club when the fire broke out.

The CAAS officer's last words were "Happy New Year", sent as an SMS message to his wife, Madam Ho Mei Shih.

Age: 26

Mr Lu was trapped in the fire while trying to escape the club with his friends.

He was in Thailand waiting to enrol in a local business school.

Age: 33

Ms Tok, Mr Loh's girlfriend, was separated from Mr Loh while trying to escape the fire.

Ms Tok, a financial consultant, was re-united with Loh in the same hospital after being transferred from a hospital which could not treat her injuries.

She suffers from third-degree burns and is in the intensive care unit.

The air traffic controller was lucky to have survived the blaze with minor burns on his back and thighs.

Mr Loh had been at the club with Mr Teo, Mr Yeo and Mr Loh's girlfriend, Adeline Tok.

During the escape, Mr Loh blacked out and was rescued by someone from outside the club.

Age: 40

Yesterday, the Ministry of Foreign affairs (MFA) confirmed the death of Mr Leslie Yeo.

Mr Yeo, together with Mr Teo and another colleague who survived the inferno, Mr Donald Loh, joined CAAS in 1994.

AGE: 21

The national serviceman's familiarity with the club saved his life as he knew that the club had three exits.

Treated for burns to his ear, arm and face, he has since returned to S'pore.

Three CAAS officers caught in blaze
Mr Teo Sze Siong's body has been identified by his family. Two other CAAS officers were with him - one is injured, while the other remains missing. -AsiaOne
