Female teacher killed in drive-by shooting

Narathiwat, Thailand - A female Buddhist teacher was killed in a drive-by shooting in this restive southern border province Sunday morning.

Sunee Kaewkhongtham, 38, was shot and killed on the Rangae-Marue Botok Road in Moo 1 village in Tambon Tanyongmus of Rangae district at 5:30 am.

Police said Sunee, a teacher of Marue Botok School, was riding her motorcycle to the Tanyongmus Market when two men on a motorcycle rode by and shot her dead.
