WELLINGTON, NEW ZEALAND - A South Korean tourist was killed and four others seriously injured when a bus rolled over in icy conditions in New Zealand's South Island Thursday, police said.

The bus carrying the tourists crashed as it headed from the southern lake town of Te Anau to the popular tourist site of Milford Sound in the southwest of the island, said Senior Sergeant Bruce Terry.

The victim died at the scene of the crash while the four injured were taken to hospital from the remote area by helicopter.
