British man falls to his death in China: state media

BEIJING, CHINA - A British man fell to his death from a hotel in southwest China, state media reported Saturday, citing local police.

The official Xinhua news agency said police in Kunming disovered the man's body on Friday afternoon and concluded that he had fallen 'from a stairway window between the 12th and 13th floors' of a hotel in the city.

The report said that officers had established from the dead man's mobile phone that he was British and taught at a local college but did not name him.
