Singapore shares close steady

>SINGAPORE, Dec 7, 2007 (AFP) - Singapore share prices closed steady Friday as investors waited for the outcome of next week's Federal Reserve meeting to see if US interest rates will be cut again, dealers said.

The Straits Times Index gained 5.40 points to 3,557.95.
