Japan's Nikkei down 0.2%, Bridgestone sold

>TOKYO
Japan's Nikkei share average fell 0.2 per cent on Wednesday, with Bridgestone Corp sold on a weak profit outlook due to rising raw material costs.

Oil development firm Inpex Holdings Inc jumped as crude oil prices surged to a record high.

As of 8.04am Singapore time, the benchmark Nikkei was down 0.3 per cent at 13,717.70 and the broader Topix index was almost flat at 1,344.92. -- REUTERS
