STI closes slightly lower

>SINGAPORE stocks closed lower with the benchmark Straits Times Index down 1.43 points, or 0.05 per cent, at 3,124.87.

Some 1.18 billion shares exchanged hands. Losers outweighed gainers 310 to 244.
