The Jakarta Post, ANN

Jakarta, Indonesia - Thailand's mobile phone producer Samart i-mobile released Wednesday (April 29) four mobile phone devices for its new Indonesian market with the sales target of one million units this year.

"We eye 5 per cent market shares of mobile phone sales in the country this year," Samart i-mobile Indonesia managing director Thawee Udomkitchote told a press gathering.

"We are quite optimistic to reach our target as we offer good quality products at low prices."

The four mobile phone devices launched in Indonesia are i-mobile 318 with the price of 850,000 rupiah (US$92.21), i-mobile 518 ($162), i-mobile 520 ($108), and i-mobile 613, which is not available yet in the country.

For such good prices, users could get a camera, a mp3 player, a bluetooth, and a micro sd card.

Samart i-mobile has been in Indonesia since 2006 in cooperation with a mobile phone operator, pro-XL.

It has also sold its mobile phone devices in other Asean countries such as Cambodia, Bangladesh, Malaysia and its home country, Thailand.
