STI closes slightly higher

>SINGAPORE shares finished higher on Monday with the benchmark Straits Times Index up 11.94 points or 0.37 per cent to 3,248.04.

Up to 1.4 billion shares exchanged hands.

Gainers outweighed losers 355 to 285.
