>ROYAL Dutch Shell has shut down its 115,000-130,000 barrels per day No. 4 crude distillation unit (CDU) in Singapore on Friday due to technical problems, a source at the refinery said.

The source told Reuters on Saturday that 'it would take about a week or so to fix the problem'.

Shell's Bukom refining complex has a total capacity of 500,000 bpd, which has two other CDUs that are running at around a 90 per cent rate. -- REUTERS
