Manufacturing output falls in July

>LONDON, ENGLAND - British manufacturing production fell by 0.4 percent in July from June and declined 1.4 percent on a 12-month basis, the Office for National Statistics said on Tuesday.

The ONS added that a wider measure of industrial production, which includes mining, quarrying and energy, dropped by 0.4 percent in July from June. On a year-on-year basis, it fell by 1.9 percent. --AFP
