Tokyo shares open 0.32% up

>TOKYO - JAPAN'S Nikkei stock index opened 0.32 per cent higher on Friday, tracking European markets upwards in the absence of a lead from Wall Street which was closed on Thursday for the Thanksgiving holiday.

The benchmark Nikkei-225 index gained 26.66 points to 8,400.05 in the first minute of trading.
