DBS to help borrowers

HELPING borrowers to tide over the financial crisis will be DBS Bank's top priority, said its chairman Koh Boon Hwee at the sidelines of an investment seminar on Thursday.

What a borrower should do is to approach the bank early before problems crop up. Otherwise, there is a limit to what the bank could do to help them, he stressed.

'We have to work together to tide over the difficulties,' he said.
