THE Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS) is giving out $200 million this year to help airlines and airport partners weather the current economic downturn.

CAAS had already extended a $130 million Air Hub Development Fund (AHDF).

It is now providing an additional $70 million relief package consisting of rental rebates, and a newly set up 'Promotions Development Fund' for retail, food and beverage, and services concessionaires at Changi Airport.
