Singapore shares close 0.70 percent up

SINGAPORE - Singapore share prices closed 0.70 percent higher Tuesday, lifted by gains in blue-chips including flag carrier Singapore Airlines, dealers said.

The main Straits Times Index rose 15.97 points to 2,333.14.
