STI lower at midday

SINGAPORE shares were lower at midday on Tuesday, with the benchmark Straits Times Index (STI) down 13.51 points or 0.50 per cent to 2,703.11.

About 775.9 million shares were traded.

Losers beat gainers 303 to 92.
