TOKYO - Japanese share prices ended 0.63 percent lower on Tuesday as investors fretted about the impact of a stronger yen on exports, overlooking a positive lead from Wall Street.

The benchmark Nikkei-225 index fell 61.25 points to 9,729.93. The broader Topix index of all first-section shares declined 3.42 points, or 0.40 percent, to 857.00.
