Hong Kong shares up 0.55 percent at break

HONG KONG - Hong Kong shares were 0.55 percent higher by noon Monday, in cautious trade amid a lack of strong leads. The benchmark Hang Seng Index gained 122.80 points to 22,578.64.

Turnover was 27.22 billion Hong Kong dollars (S$4.87 billion).
