TAIPEI - Lenovo , the world's No.4 PC maker, expects gross margins for its mobile Internet devices to be higher than 10 per cent, after saying it would reacquire the cellphone business it sold last year.

'When the market becomes a little more mature, the number (10 per cent) will be a little bit on the low side,' Lenovo's Chief Financial Officer Wong Wai Ming told reporters.

Earlier, Lenovo had said it would pay US$200 million (S$277 million) to buy back Lenovo Mobile, as the lines blur between mobile phones and personal computers.
