SINGAPORE - Singapore will release advance gross domestic product (GDP) estimates for fourth quarter and full year 2011 at 8:00 am local time on Jan 3, the Ministry of Trade and Industry said on Tuesday.
Singapore has already said it expects full-year GDP growth to come in around 5 per cent this year, which suggests the economy contracted quarter-on-quarter in the last three months of 2011.
Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong will likely reveal some of the data in his New Year's Day address on Dec 31, as he has done previously.
