BT launches personal finance website BT Invest

The Business Times, the business daily of Singapore Press Holdings (SPH), will be launching a new personal finance website, BT Invest (www.btinvest.com.sg). The website will go live from Monday 20 February.

BT Invest is a free one-stop financial portal for the public that provides users with the latest market updates, corporate announcements, research reports and policy updates.

Users can draw on tools such as calculators and search engines to enhance their knowledge and understanding on topics ranging from personal wealth management to financial planning.

The articles found in BT Invest are contributed by BT's editorial staff, industry experts and academics. There will also be sponsored content from advertisers as well as news stories and archives from BT and other SPH publications. The breadth of content is designed to appeal to seasoned investors as well as beginners who are embarking on their path to grow and manage their wealth and assets.

BT Invest has been developed in partnership with ShareInvestor, the financial internet media and technology company and a subsidiary of SPH. The site consists of five investment categories - Markets, Property, Insurance, Wealth and Personal Finance. The BT Invest home page will list the day's top stories and highlights from the five categories. With a fresh and clean-cut design, the website is easy to navigate.

1) Markets: Stay ahead of the markets through investing in different asset classes such as stocks, unit trusts, bonds and alternative investment options.

2) Property: Pick up tips for buying residential and commercial properties in Singapore and overseas, and be updated on the latest properties available for sale.

3) Insurance: Find out more about the various insurance products such as life, health, motor, travel and endowment, among others to meet your personal and family needs.

4) Wealth: Make informed decisions on growing your assets and managing and protecting your wealth through prudent tax planning and retirement planning.

With an extensive range of news, tips and tools on offer, BT Invest will be an objective and trusted source of information."
