Teeing off for a good cause

More than 120 golfers teed off at the Raffles Country Club to raise $100,000 for the SMa bursary fund Friday.
Aimed at providing SMa members and members' staff and immediate family an opportunity to pursue higher education with the SMa Institute of Higher Learning, the fund will give deserving children and their family the leverage they need to move up the socio-economic ladder.
Standing in front of the BMW 730Li - the hole-in-one prize - are Dr Tan Kok Kheng, SMa Council Member; Mr Patrick Chang, SMa Honorary Secretary; Mr George Huang, SMa President; Minister Lim and Mr Lim Meng Wee, SMa Executive Council Member.
Gracing the event entitled 'SMa's 80th Anniversary Fundraising Golf Tournament' was Mr Lim Swee Say, Minister, Prime Minister's Office.

The event held at Raffles Country Club concluded with a dinner at the club.
