It was a highly anticipated event, but the press conference that would have given the media a sneak peak into the cabins of the Singapore Flyer has been cancelled.
The press conference, on Feb 4, is to introduce the Chinese New Year movie, CJ7, before its premiere here in Singapore on Feb 7. The movie is directed by Hong Kong actor, Stephen Chow. It would also have been the first time that the media gets a firsthand look at the Singapore Flyer.
Earlier today, Sony Pictures Releasing International sent an email to the media ahead of the event to inform of the cancellation. An email from Sony Pictures cited that the reason for the cancellation is due to "an unforeseen delay in getting (the Singapore Flyer's) entertainment license". The conference has now been moved to another location.
AsiaOne would have brought you an exclusive look into the Singapore Flyer, but plans for this vodcast is now on hold.
