WITH extreme booty shaking and a 10,000-strong audience packed shoulder-to-shoulder, the second day of SingFest was steamier than the first day.

The heat at Fort Canning Park did not let up and bands such as alternative rockers Panic At The Disco were sweating even before they hit the first note.

The sell-out audience ensured that every inch of the grass patch was taken up by the time the third band on the main stage, pop rockers OneRepublic, went on at a little after 5pm.

Racy dance moves by burlesque girl pop act Pussycat Dolls raised temperatures even higher during their night-time set as they goaded the crowd to 'have hot and freaky fun with us'.

Headliner Alicia Keys, who came on at 11pm, proved why she is the anointed princess of the pop-soul and R&B set with her flawless voice, superb piano skills and clockwork professionalism.
