CO-DIRECTOR of Bangkok Dangerous Oxide Pang bristles audibly when asked if he has deliberately taken ideas from fellow director John Woo.

'When people see heroes carry guns in a certain way, they will say the style comes from Hong Kong, and it's easy to think of John Woo,' he says over the telephone from Hong Kong.

But it is hard to blame viewers for the charge of copying as there is more than a touch of Woo in the double-pistol shootout at the end of Bangkok Dangerous.
