PETALING JAYA, MALAYSIA: Singer Ning Baizura has split with her manager Vernon Kedit and also decided to dissolve Ning & Associates effective today. The singer said yesterday that she had decided to self-manage her career.
"But this does not mean that we will not be working together again.
"This is a small industry and we will always support each other," the 33-year-old singer told a press conference yesterday.
Ning said she felt confident enough to expand her career on her own, adding that she would be recording a concert show on RTM called Zoom In @ RTM with Ning next month.
Ning, who has been in the entertainment industry for 16 years, said she had learnt a lot from Kedit over the years.
"I am thankful to him. He has been a friend, big brother, great business partner and manager in the eight years that we have worked together," she said.
