From Andy Lee and Jun Jin from Shinhwa, sexy Chae Yeon, cutie pies Wonder Girls to hunky upcoming boyband 2PM, most of the fans know the various artistes like the back of their hand.

Fans sang (no, screamed!) heartily along with the singers, and many waved placards pledging devotion to the artiste they support.

The concert, which saw each act performing two songs, is part of the ongoing Korea Festival 2008, which runs till 18 Nov.

Hosted by Andy Lee, 27, from long-running boy band Shinhwa, Park Jung Ah, 27, lead singer of girl band Jewelry and local presenter 93.3 FM DJ Tan Li Yi, the hosts deserved to be lauded for their amazing stamina.

Barring their own performances, the trio dutifully stood on the side of the stage throughout the entire 21/2-hour show, introducing the various acts.

Energetic start

The concert line-up kicked off energetically with the explosive dance single Wa, by Jun Jin, 28. Jun Jin heated up the stage with his provocative dance moves and finished them off by whipping off his jacket to reveal a tight singlet, driving fans wild.

Things continued to sizzle with the feminine charms of Chae Yeon, followed by girl band, Jewelry.

Chae Yeon, clad in a tiny spangled silver dress, black shorts and knee-high boots, performed her signature high-energy dance numbers Two of Us and My Love.

The former drew audiences irresistibly to chant the 'Na-na-na' hook of the song.

Four-member outfit Jewelry didn't lose out in the sexy stakes either. They sizzled in showy, short outfits that revealed generous expanses of midriffs and legs.

But while the ladies teased, it was the men from boy bands 2PM and U-Kiss, who got the mostly-female crowd screaming.

2PM drove audiences wild as they broke out in B-boy dance moves, flipping over each other and waving their hands in the air.

Newbie U-Kiss, a boy band that launched an album this year, endeared itself in a different way.

Phrases like 'I love Singapore' and 'It's really an honour to be here,' were sweetly uttered and lapped up by fans.

The concert wrapped up with girl band The Wonder Girls performing their infectious tune Nobody, which got everyone singing along - yes even in Korean!

So charming were the retro-garbed cuties that they even had guest of honour, National Development Minister Mah Bow Tan, snapping at them using his mobile phone.
