Dark Knight returns to S'pore

BATMAN movie The Dark Knight is to be re-released in cinemas today.

Heath Ledger, who died of a drug overdose last year, has been nominated for best supporting actor at the upcoming 81st Academy Awards for his role as the Joker. The film was the third-highest grossing movie release worldwide, raking in more than US$998 million (S$1.5 billion) globally and $5.2 million in Singapore.

The movie will be screened at Cathay Orchard Cineleisure, Eng Wah West Mall, Golden Village Grand and Golden Village Plaza from today.
