LOS ANGELES - "Privileged" star Joanna Garcia is returning to the CW with a recurring role on "Gossip Girl."

She will play Bree Buckley, an evil Miss America-type blonde from a conservative Southern family but is politically progressive.

Her story line is being kept under wraps, but she is expected to have a fling with a regular on the show.

On "Privileged," which ran during the 2008/09 season on the CW, Garcia played Megan Smith, a Yale graduate-turned-private-tutor for spoiled teen heiresses.
