ONE of the last videos made by the late Malaysian film director Yasmin Ahmad may become her most universally known work.
Funeral, the much talked-about campaign video by the Ministry of Community Development, Youth and Sports (MCYS), has amassed more than one million online views on Facebook in three months. It has also drawn attention from countries as far away as Spain and Africa.
Some netizens have translated the poignant commercial, which depicts a widow paying affectionate tribute to her husband's quirks at his wake, into their native languages.
