JAKARTA, Indonesia - Ask singer Dewi Sandra what kind of song she hates, and she'll be quick to tell you it's songs about cheating and polygamy.

Dewi believes such songs offer listeners no kind of lesson, but could affect their way of thinking.

"With such songs coming out every day, it's no wonder there are so many cases of cheating and polygamy going on all around us," says the 29-year-old.

"Such songs do affect people's psychology because they listen to them every day."

So what's an example of a song Dewi hates so much? None other than Ahmad Dhani's hit "Madu Tiga" (Three Wives).

"I'm sorry Ahmad Dhani, but I hate that song!" Dewi says seriously of the song that was originally sung by legendary Malaysian artist P. Ramlee.

Why? "That song makes polygamy sounds acceptable [within society]."

According to the Brazilian-born singer, musicians should stop making and singing songs with themes and messages such as that.

"I'm so tired of listening to that kind of songs," says Dewi, who is currently in the process of divorcing singer Glenn Fredly.

"Why not make songs about true love and loyalty?" she adds.

Dewi says she is concentrating on singing love songs with positive overtones. She will soon release her new single "You're Amazing".
