Miley Cyrus - The Time of Our Lives (Universal) - Rating: 2/5
PARTY In The USA, found on this eight-track EP album, is already a huge hit for teen sensation Miley Cyrus.
When I Look At You and Time Is Cheap show she is slowly coming of age with song themes veering towards adult territory. This also includes a bonus duet track Before The Storm with the Jonas Brothers.
Nirvana - "Bleach" (Warner) - Rating: 3.5
WHILE "Bleach" was never widely regarded as the definitive soundtrack for the grunge generation as Nevermind was, it carried the raw, unpolished fuzz swirls of the band's early days.
This reissue - marking the 20th anniversary of its initial release - comes with a load of extras, including a 52-page booklet of unseen photos and a live set played in Oregon circa 1990.
Bad Lieutenant - Never Cry Another Tear (Love Da) - Rating: 3/5
AMID the ashes of New Order in 2007, frontman Bernard Sumner rallied the troops, sans bassist Peter Hook, in an attempt to start anew. While it pulls no surprises, Bad Lieutenant's debut has tunes like Sink Or Swim which carry that trademark New Order sound while Dynamo has the reckless feel of a drunken bar fight.
Carrie Underwood - Play On (Sony) - Rating: 2.5/5
GRAMMY-WINNING American Idol winner Carrie Underwood sticks to her country-rock template on her third album.
While lead single Cowboy Cassanova is a typically slick power-chorddriven ballad, Change shows off an edgy side rarely heard from the saccharine sweet blonde.
