Michael Jackson's father to challenge star's will

LOS ANGELES - The father of Michael Jackson will seek to challenge the two businessman named as executors of his son's estate despite losing an earlier court battle, papers have shown.

Joe Jackson, 81, last week lost an attempt to replace administrators John Branca and John McClain after Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Mitchell Beckloff ruled he had no right to a say in his son's affairs.

However legal papers filed on Friday indicated Joe Jackson, who was left out of the "King of Pop's" will, now plans to challenge the ruling at the California Court of Appeals.

TMZ entertainment news website said Jackson was seeking the removal of executors Branca and McClain on the basis that the pop icon's will which appointed them was a forgery.

Jackson died on June 25 at his rented mansion in Los Angeles after an accidental overdose of powerful prescription drugs.
