HACHIKO: A DOG'S STORY (PG) (Drama/93 minutes)

THE show is based on the Japanese movie inspired by the real-life story of a dog that waited loyally for its master.

Richard Gere plays music professor Parker Wilson, who comes across an akita pup at the train station and takes it home.

Soon, he and the dog form a bond, despite initial hostility from his wife (Joan Allen).

It makes a habit out of following and waiting for him at the train station daily, even after he has died, earning the sympathy and love of the community.
