Little Big Soldier

my paper

By Yong Shu Hoong

IN THIS period adventure, Jackie Chan plays a soldier who captures a wounded enemy general (Wang Lee Hom) for a reward.

There is a mix of martial arts and comedy, reminiscent of the old-fashioned gongfu flicks in which Chan first found fame.

Ignore the misleading sexual subtext and you will find this morality tale - about war, peace and loyalty - both entertaining and well-scripted.

Little Big Soldier (PG) Action/95 minutes
