IRISH boy-band Boyzone might have lost beloved member Stephen Gately, but it is going ahead with its new album because it was what he would have wanted, according to the other members.

Watch their first interview with host Lorraine Kelly as they talk about the difficulties of continuing as a quartet after Gately's death.

The 33-year-old was found dead at his apartment in Majorca, Spain, in October last year as a result of a congenital heart defect.

"I think we are still trying to find our way, you know... It's a very difficult process to be doing the new single without Steve, although we feel he's with us," said member Mikey Graham.

They joked that Gately would "scratch their eyes out" if they didn't release the new song which he had a part in creating.

Remember to follow the link to another video on the site, which shows the group performing its new single, Gave It All Away, in memory of Gately.
