GIRLS and guys, put your records on - British singer-songwriter Corinne Bailey Rae is coming to Singapore.
The chanteuse will play her maiden concert here on July 28 at the Esplanade Theatre, said concert promoter Greenhorn Productions in a statement.
Rae, 31, first broke into the music scene in 2006 when her eponymous album debuted at No. 1 on British charts. That record sold 1.9 million copies in the United States and spawned hits like sunny singalong Put Your Records On, which went on to receive two Grammy nominations the next year.
In January, Leeds-born Rae released her sophomore effort, The Sea, after a hiatus of nearly two years following the death of her husband, Jason, in 2008.
