SO, THIS 17-year-old has pole-danced at the Teen Choice Awards and posed nearly nude for Vanity Fair.

Now, she's released the video for the song Can't Be Tamed, which has her singing about "going through guys like money" and cavorting with back-up dancers in an orgasmic dance routine. The video has been criticised as too racy.

Frankly, it's nothing Britney Spears hasn't done, and Can't Be Tamed vaguely recalls Spears' I'm A Slave 4 U video, in which a sweaty Spears - who was 20 years old at the time - unleashed much more racy dance moves than Cyrus could ever conceive.

Still, the video is a slick production that sees Cyrus as a human-bird hybrid that, well, can't be tamed.

If nothing else, this vid shows that Cyrus knows how to entertain, and marks the beginning of truly high-quality videos from this teen star, who is out to prove that she's ready to grow up - fast.
