Fans go wild over Cheer Chen

SINGAPORE - Do not underestimate Cheer Chen's usually quiet and reserved fans.

When the Taiwanese indie darling went up close to them, they showed that they were just as capable of jostling, screaming and showing their love for their music goddess.

At her recently 'A Piece of Summer II' concert at Max Pavilion, Chen went off the stage twice to get intimate with fans.

During the encore segment, she even played the piano amidst the frenzied fans right in the middle of the hall. And when she crooned 'Tell Me', one of her all-time crowd-pleasers, the 3,500-strong crowd sang along without missing a beat.

At 35-years old, the singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist is still blessed with a youthful face and childlike voice. Her three-hour long concert featured more than 30 songs, and her rock numbers and sentimental hits both scored well with fans.

Get a front seat view of the indie queen on her guitar and a dual-sided piano on RazorTV.
