Album review: Some nights by fun.
Apt is the name of this American indie-pop outfit, whose song, We Are Young (featuring Janelle Monae), has been hotting up charts as the fist-pumping anthem du jour for scene kids.
Their 10-track second album is filled with orchestral swells and clever Gen Y-skewed lyrics on stadium romps like the title track and Carry On.
There's nothing understated about it, but we dig the too-cool- for-school vibe.
