For the Biebs, the show must always go on.
The 18-year-old Canadian pop star was performing a private show at the Apollo Theater in New York on Monday when the sound system unexpectedly gave out, followed by a power outage.
Unfazed, Justin Bieber exhorted the crowd to sing his song, Boyfriend, with him a capella style.
While the repairmen struggled to fix the problem, he soldiered on and sang his hits unplugged.
"Literally, the boy blew up the Apollo... it was one of the most special nights I have ever been a part of," Bieber's manager, Scooter Braun, told MTV News.
Bieber later tweeted: "Me and @ludacris blew up the power at the @ApolloTheater. Haha. Epic. #beastmode."
