More than 3,500 4Minute fans, also known as 4Nias, thronged Plaza Singapura last night for the group's mall appearance.
The girl group, whose members include Nam Ji-hyun, Heo Ga-yoon, Jeon Ji-yoon, Kim Hyun-a, and Kwon So-hyun, were in town to promote the second season of tvN's K-Pop Star Hunt.
In the event hosted by DJ Ken from Radio 100.3, fans sang and danced to 4Minute's songs like "Mirror Mirror". One of two finalists for Singapore's leg of the show's first season, Jasmine Tan, also shared her experience when training under CUBE Entertainment in Seoul last year.
4Minute walked onstage at 8pm, and after greeting fans, sat down for a Question and Answer session.
They shared their thoughts about the Singapore contestants from Season 1, and invited recommendations from fans about trying Singapore's cuisine such as laska and durian.
When asked about valuable advice for aspiring K-Pop hopefuls, the girls stressed on perseverance, hard work and encouraged K-Pop hopefuls to take part in tvN K-Pop Star Hunt S2.
The talent competition, which seeks to discover the next K-Pop superstars, will be holding auditions in Singapore, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Thailand and the Philippines, as well as two new additions this season, Malaysia and Japan.
A pre-audition roadshow will be held on July 28 at Plaza Singapura between noon and 6pm for those who want to audition.
