Some of the biggest names in food will be coming to Singapore soon, as part of the World Gourmet Summit (WGS) next month.
British celebrity chef Marco Pierre White, once the enfant terrible of the British culinary scene but whose contributions to contemporary modern cuisine are notable, will be presenting the Marco Pierre White Celebrity Chef Dinner on April 27 at Grand Hyatt Singapore as part of the WGS.
He will also present a course at the WGS Charity Dinner on April 25 at Resorts World Sentosa. British chef Fergus Henderson, the founder of the renowned St. John Bar And Restaurant in London - and who is known for his philosophy of using the whole animal and not just its parts in his cuisine - will also be in town to present a three-course demonstration at the Miele Gallery on April 24.
The WGS, organised by À La Carte Productions, is on from April 23 to May 3.
