SEA Games: Young Lions redeem themselves with win over Vietnam

SINGAPORE'S Young Lions have clinched the bronze medal in this year's SEA Games football competition after beating Vietnam on Friday.

The final score was 5 goals to nil.

Shahril Ishak scored the first goal of the match in the 37th minute.

Following that, Fazrul Nawaz came through with three goals in the 44th, 52nd and 56th minute.

Agu Casmir sealed the deal with a goal in the 79th minute.

The Lions had lost their semi-final match 3-0 to hosts Thailand earlier this week.

The gold-medal match between Thailand and Myanmar will take place later on Friday night .
