F1: Kovalainen fit to race in Turkey

>ISTANBUL - FINLAND'S Heikki Kovalainen has been passed fit to race at the Turkish Grand Prix, his McLaren team said on Thursday.

Kovalainen was knocked unconscious and taken to hospital suffering from concussion after crashing in the Spanish Grand Prix on April 27.

McLaren said the governing International Automobile Federation had given him the all-clear for Sunday's race after a mandatory medical at the Istanbul Park circuit. - REUTERS
